How to maintain long text

Hi Experts,

Additional tab generated in Incident/ Accident log (t-code CBIH82). Business need long text under addtional tab which is already created.

Please guide me how to maintain long text under customised tab?

HI Rakesh,

Environment, Health and Safety >> Industrial Hygiene and safety >> Basic Settings >> Assign value assignment types to classes.

Pick the value Assignment type (additional tab), which you have created and check for the class field in the above path.

Create a new characteristic in CT04 for long text.

go to CL02 and add the above character to that.

Run CGCZ for match up.

Your new field will appear in that customized tab.

Hi Kamal,

Thanks for your input.

As you said thorugh characterstic, it won't be allowed more than 30 character in a text. There is some limitation.

Is there any other method to solve the issue?
