When the DVM Cloud Application is used, there is no ST14 analysis anymore. Instead a job is executed which triggers report RAGS_DVM_CQC_CONTROL to run in your SAP Solution Manager system. RAGS_DVM_CQC_CONTROL subsequently triggers a second job, AGS_DVM_CQC_ANALYSIS, in your managed system, which performs an analysis in respect of Data Volume Management in the managed system. After the analysis is completed, the control job in the SAP Solution Manager system fetches the result from the managed system and sends this result to the SAP Support Backbone. Once the data is successfully sent to the SAP support backbone, the temporarily created analysis data will be removed from the system.
After the analysis is finished, you can find the analysis result in the Data Volume Management APP in SAP For Me portal. If your current user has an email address maintained, you can decide to receive an e-mail notification with the URL link to the SAP For Me portal where you can view the final result in the Data Volume Management APP.
Please note, there is a possibility not to use Solution Manager in order to use the DVM Cloud App. If a Solution Manager not to be used, then the data will need to be manually generated in the Managed System and uploaded to the DVM Cloud App.
Using Solution Manager, the data can be generated in the DVM App automatically, using either the EWA (Early Watch Alert) or Auto GSS.
