How to ferch data from different system and insert to MDO

Hi friends,

i am new into developing MII

My requirement is to fetch data from different systems (any system, E.g.:- ECC\MES\PCo)

And inserted in to MDO.

Can any one kindly tell me the ways to do it?

Hi Priya,

There are multiple ways to do this. Below is the standard way. For each step you will need to get more details if you have not done anything in MII before.

- Create required Connections (for ECC) Data Server connections (other MES, PCo) to the source system.

- Create the Data Queries in MII Workbench to read the data from the source using the data connection.

- Create the II transaction in MII workbench and call the BAPI to read data from ECC

- Create the needed MDO objects with required columns

- Create the Insert Query to insert the data in the MDO object

- Create MII transaction to call the Read Query and Insert Query by mapping the links. You might need more logic based on data
