How to Create project on saving Item Portfolio (PPM 5.0)

Dear all;

I need to create a Project Management when an Item is created.

I doit step by step.

1) Here I define the Item Type to Project Management and Flag to Create Project Automatically and uncheck the "NoAutoPro".

SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Portfolio Management -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings ->

• Define Portfolio Item Types

2) Here I map the Item Template to the Project template

• Map Item Template to Project Template or PS Project

• Map Item Type to Project or PS

There is something that this forgetting me?

Hi Mariano,

And what happens when you create an item?

Important is that the flag 'create projec on saving ' and the 'Project Management Template:' should be filled, as an item is being created.

If it is not the case, then there may somthing wrong with customizing.

If both are filled, and not project is created, there may something wrong with program.

You are Right.

I check out all the configuration of templates and the Item Type but I forgot the DFM configuration:

*SAP Portfolio Management -> Common Functions -> Decision Flow Management Settings

(Of Page 93 in the document "Configuration Content PPM V5 2.0.pdf".)

I configure all DFM, and when the Item is created, the Project es created too.

I'm still have a Problem, in the Template Combo Text box, I have 2 templates created for the item type, but the combo text box is in blanks.

The creation problem is Solved, I create a new thread for the template Combo text box.
