How to create new Recipe with same Group and Counter for a new Plant?

Hello experts.

We created a new Plant and need to migrate all the Recipes from the old to the new.

But when I try to copy a Recipe from the old Plant, with the same Group and Counter, it gives the following message:

Select another description for recipe, this one already exists - Message no. C5657

I suppose that is because I can't create with the same Group and Counter from the old Plant. But it does not make much sense since in MAPL table material and Plant are key.

What I can do is leave counter in blank and the system automatically assigns the next available.

But I have more than 50 counters. At some time will not be possible to copy from one Plant to another.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Hello Caio

You cannot create a recipe with the same number in a different plant, but you can assign it to a material in a different plant.

Go to the recipe header, click button material assignments and you will be able to assign it to a different plant. Be careful, as there will be a reference to the original plant in each operation.

I think that a better alternative would be to create a new recipe with a new number.

Thank you for the answer.

As the Company uses external Group code, I had to keep the same code.

The alternative is to change the counter to A1, A2... So I can keep the same Group code.

I thought there was a way to create with the same Group Number, Counter and Material, but different Plants.
