How to Create BP at SAP PPM in S/4 HANA

Hi experts,
I'm a SAP PLM consultant, In S/4 HANA 1809, I met some questions about created BP. I know BP created from HR system, when I executed transaction code :PA40 to maintain the HR master data, there aren't anything action types can be choose. I'm not good at HR system. Could any experts tell me how to configure or create BP in S/4 HANA, if apply PPM system? I'd like to know how to solve it.

Hi Leo,

I guess you are following the instructions mentioned by the SAP note 2379542. In PA40 you should be able to select the Action type Hiring and press Execute.

By the way in SAP S/4 HANA 1809, an easiest way to create Business Partner should be through the new app Maintain Resources. Refer to the following documentation: https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F3505')/S13OP

Great! Thank for your help. I met some new questions.

1. In PA40, can't display any Action type be choose, I can't create Pers.No. Maybe need to configure HR system, but I don't know how to do, I'm not good at HR system. The following screenshot:

2. Some users can be created BP, but someone can't. In SLG1, display “Enter postal code”. Is the post code a mandatory entry? I‘m confusing. The screenshot is following：

I think the HR master data doesn't meet the requirements.

I'd like to know what data is mandatory entry in HR when creating BP. Whether have some requirements for HR.? Can you tell me?
