Dear Customer,

To copy the data from prod tenant to test tenant, please open a service request from your prod tenant or test tenant by following steps:

  1. Service Control Center - Systems
  2. Choose the test tenant
  3. Click Refresh tenant
  4. Fill the data as following:
    1. Refresh Type: Refresh from Source System
    2. Source Data: the prod tenant
    3. Downtime Start: Choose the time when we can start the copy process.
    4. Check Copy all attachment and change document.
  5. Click OK.

Then the service request will be send to our operation team and they will process the refresh. When the configured downtime is started, for the first four hours, the prod tenant will be down and will be released after the end of the first four hours. After the first 4 hours, we need another 10~15 hours to prepare the test tenant. The time may be less or more due to the data volume needed to copy.

One important point is that the downtime should be at least before 4 hours of TEST system CMP or after 4 hours of production system CMP. The CMP can be checked in Service Control Center - Calendar. Here is a KBA about Tenant Refresh for your reference. https://me.sap.com/notes/2340655
