How to check if user is authorized for Portfolio / Bucket or Entity in PPM ?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to check, if the current user is authorized for a given Portfolio.

I make use of /RPM/PORTFOLIO_GETLIST to get the list of authorized portfolios for that user. When i try to create item through /RPM/ITEM_MODIFY, it goes fine for any portfolio, even though the one i pass to it is not part of the former function module that lists the portfolios. How to overcome this ?

Hi,

You can use program RPM_DX_ITEM to create a portfolio item.
