Hello Devdatt,

I was wondering what is the business need which require the relevant
indicator to always set - Is it  only needed for certain VT or all of the
VT which is available in Property tree ?? Activating  this may have more negative effect on
report and its versioning.

System gives you an option to set it manually to flag if VT is changed which
can be reset by system automatically.

There may be a different option you can use if you give us little more back
ground.

Thank You,

Gopi

Dear Devdat

the relevance indicator is only used in context of WWI reports. Therefore (e.g. as mentioned by Gopi) is does not make sense (in most cases) to set this per default (and as metioned there is no "Standard option" to do so).

Dear Devdatt

the relevance activator does has some "purpose", In context of WWI report it does help to indicate if data should be "marked" and if a new major WWI raw report should be generated. Because of a lot of reasons it is not a good idea to look for options to make sure that the "relevance indicator" is active.

Clearly there are some UserExits etc. available which can be used to make that happen but it is not recommended to go on (and to make sure that it is always active);

In contrast: the active indicator can be influenced more easily; here because of several reaosns it might make sense to prepare a set up in which actice indicator is set; and here user is able" to "remove" that if needed.

Dear Christoph,

That was quite useful answer, so what are the user exits available to make it happen or is there any other resolution for this.
