How the Sec-I Captured in VAT acc. to REACh in SAP.It is taking 40 characters only. How we can add section I according to REACh.

Please clarify me to reach my requirement.

once again: don't mix data maintenance and WWI topic. As explained by Mark => we have some standard WWI set up (delivered by SAP) which we can use. The transformation of the data in the document is one topic; to print the data needed in WWI document is the other one I(e.g. you need phrases). You will have lot of examples in document printing using there you will use what we call "header phrase" which are used only for print purpose and no data maintenance will happen in SAP EHS.

Especially in context of SDS/MSDS: you will find many many many examples here (and they are legally required !!). BUt these "texts" are something link you would use in writing a letter (they are simply" hearders)

Especially: if you do not have any kind (or less experience) in WWI dont't tryo to do the WWI layout for EU one ! Because of the SAP standard data model the WWI layout (and data model) is quite complex and with understanding it you will never ever get the REACH SDS as required by authority

I know that it VAT description will take only 40 Char. The thing is i want to get that section I fully in output of WWI even i maintain the 40 char's as VAT description. How the output will come.

I thought the node we will create VAT as E that will display on WWI.How i cant output that full Section I in wwi. Where i can maintain that data in spro.

Please suggest.

Hello Satay,

You can not output the description of a VAT with WWI.

You need to find / create a phrase (TR CG12) with the desired text (description of VAT) and output that phrase on the WWI report.

you need to differentiate between "data maintenance" and data as shown in a WWI report. As Raphael explained: for the property tree you can not use more than 40 characters. But you are showing here what we call a "node" and not the real VAT/property. But here the same is true. I would expect this: if you expand the node shown you will see some properties. Based on definition of the generation variant and the WWI layout: after some proper data maintenance in these properties you can retrieve the data as stored to show up in the document (as embedded by you as a picture)

Not sure if I got exactly what are you expecting..

If I understood correctly, you want to display more characters in the VAT description on the property tree.

The text displayed in the property tree is the description inserted in IMG activity "Specify Value Assignment Types". You can check that this data element ESEESTNAM is a CHAR 40, so it's not possible to insert more data. You can adapt the description in the same customizing, but with this limitation for the standard field.
