How the materials are getting displayed in Monitor material coverage and MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC

Hi Experts, 

I am facing issue in Monitor material coverage App Where lot of materials are not getting displayed in the application. it is observed that if the the MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC  has material entry with MRP apps column as G then material gets displayed in the MRP application. if it has entry with B then it does not get displayed in the MRP application.

Here as soon as the material gets created system performs the check and decides if the material can be displayed in MRP apps  not. 

If the MRP apps indicator is B then those materials are not getting displayed in the application.

My Question :

by What criteria systems decides if the materials are getting displayed in MRP apps or not? i.e. by what criteria MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC sets the indicator G and B for the material.

Currently in our system many of the materials have by default Value as B which is set by system as a result lot of materials are not getting displayed in MRP Apps.

Hello 

Try to run report PPH_CHECK_AOR to check which features are not supported.

Hi Caetano, Thank you for the response. I have checked the report and it says total customer requirement is not supported. How can i overcome this ?Do i need to change the availability check settings.

Hi Caetano,

Yes, You are right. I am facing an issue because of the availability check "01". 
In my current system system is configured with, TotalSales and TotDlvReqs attributes in Customizing from “B” (Totals records per day).

As per Prerequisites to Clean up to Total Requirement. I need to change the availability check in material master for "01" to some other checking group. But if i try to change it gives me warning message, as below. Does changing now will impact MRP situation ?

For information : I dont have any entries in VBBS and RQIT. I do have entries in VBBE will it be safe to change the availability check now or some prerequisites are needed before changing this ?

MRP segments is one of the criteria which will decide which material will be displayed.

Later the Configuration check this

SIMG - Production - Material Requirements Planning - Apps for Material Requirements Planning - General Settings - Define Supply and Demand Profiles

SIMG - Production - Material Requirements Planning - Apps for Material Requirements Planning - General Settings - Define Material Shortage Profiles.

Hi Raghavan, 

Thank you for the reply. I have observed one thing if i create a material with availability check 01 then it will not displayed in Monitor material coverage application and shows MRP issue indicator as 2 (Total Customer requirement)  in MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC report. But if I change the availability check to 02 then it will get displayed to Monitor material coverage application

I am using Strategy 40 for the planning. 

Do you have any idea about why it is behaving differently with different availability check.
