We have requirement to track drug precursors for salts through rule ( restriction status ) .Any idea how sap has designed by grouping these salts of drug precursor ?

Dear Krishna

i assume you talk about this: You are using "SERC" content; and you would like to know the "integration" of any "master data" in any "sub process".

I try the other way around:

1.) you have REAL_SUBs

2.) these have compositions

3.) therein normally(using SAP approach)  you use "PURE_SUB" as components

4.) pure_SUB get data via LIST_SUB

5.) On LIST_SUB level you load content

During the load of LIST_SUB data you check the content and LIST_SUB and decided if a "CAS" number is of type "drug precursor" etc. So you define the content on this level and this is then "inherited" to PURE_SUB level.

Based of topic 1 - 5: you have now a REAL_Sub having components in one composition (most likely "Standard Composition") which have data for drug precursor. Now you can use rule sets (as well part of content) to calculate (in most cases) the "worst case" result (which drug precursor is inside; which is more "hazard"; alternative: you just "list" the "sublist" of PURE_SUB defined as "drug precursor (this is then done in a property of type "compositions" (as you then can store the "concentration" of component)

The result is written to some property in property tree in REAL_SUB level. This "new" results can be used in WWI reports etc. or other subsequent processes

I hope that helps
