How do you migrate Shared Memory objects in SAP MII 15.4?

I have a client that is migrating from existing servers of MII 15.1 to new servers with MII 15.4. This is part of an acquisition. There are a few dozen of the shared memory properties of Storage Type Persistent. I can see them in the XMII_DB_MEMORY table. Is it just a matter of transporting the records from one database to another? Or is there a built in method of transporting them. We exported and imported the project and the same for the configuration files (System Properties). I found the SharedProperties.mem file under META-INF tab of the workbench. Just export it and import it into the new server?

My guess is that when the project was copied, the objects under the META-INF tab were not copied to the new project. I think all that needs to be done is an export of the SharedMemory.mem item and import it into the new project on the new server. If anyone knows a better way, please let me know.
