home page customization and themes in sap mii

I am learning MII and how we can do home page customization and themes in sap mii. document would be helpful

Even though it is old, some basics are outlined.

You can create the home theme using different frameworks like SAPUI5 / Angular JS etc.

I am refering the same document. however I am not able to download "“xMII 12.0 Sample Projects and Tools" project. I could not find it on SMP.  Please help me with the path.
