hi experts,
kindly let me know the procedure for hiding the actual name of a specification & instead giving a dummy name on ehs reports. for example actual name is 'acetone' & i want to hide this and a dummy name like 'aton' to be displayed on reports. the purpose is internally it can be accessed with out any problem, but externally it should be know by dummy name.
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Demand
your demand /issue is very unspecific. Therefore a lot of solutions might be possible. One suggestion has been listed by Balajee. Therefore:
Do we talk about a label ? Or about e.g. an SDS/MSDS ? One "option" which might be useful is listed here:
Check in this document: subchapter: 9) Trade Secret: Outputting Identifiers Based on Component Types
The main "issue" is the definition of "internal" and "external". One "simple" option is to use just two generation variant and two layouts; one would be used for external use and the other for internal use; this avoids any complexity in WWI development or data maintenance or generation variant definition.
Is your topic more related to "material" texts or on data from components to be shown in WWI document?

Hi Suman
If iam not wrong you can use "User Entry" option during report generation for above kind of requirements..
