Hi SAP Community!
I'm Emerson, a 55-year-old system architect with experience in ERP since 1993 in Brazil.
I joined the SAP universe in February 2025, and I'm working to connect my previous experience with SAP technologies.
My strongest background is in the construction industry. I've delivered projects across various sectors, including railroads, ports, hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, and oil & gas sites.
In construction, the state-of-the-art for information management is called BIM – Building Information Modeling. It's a structured database that stores all relevant information about a construction object, such as a building or an oil rig.
Companies in this industry face challenges in managing versions, changes, access controls, and many other attributes required to track the full lifecycle of construction projects.
Can I use SAP Lifecycle Management tools to support this kind of process?
Thanks a lot!
P.S.: Please forgive any mistakes in my English — it's a work in progress!
