Hello All,
What is the difference between Hazardous Substance master that is created by HS_FILL and Hazardous Material that is created via VM01 ??
which Hazardous substance data that the system will read when there is Putaway strategy in place with respect to WM.(Ware house management) in S4 HANA system.
As per my understanding as there is Hazardous Material checkbox on the Material Master WM Execution tab it will read the Hazardous Substance Master that is created via HS_FILL
Please correct me if I am wrong. Also request you to give crisp explanation on my initial question

Hello
VM01 (and anything around) should not be used (anymore). You can forget (according to my knowledge) this option starting with may be R/3 Release 4.6. C (so it is really an outdated solution).
Never found somebody who use this option
Regarding:
As per my understanding as there is Hazardous Material checkbox on the Material Master WM Execution tab it will read the Hazardous Substance Master that is created via HS_FILL
is listing the options. You will find a subchapter like "Flexible Hazardous Substance Check"
Further good help is here:
The use of "WM" is "outdated". Normally "eWM" is now "in scope"
