Hello Experts,
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Rudrakshma,
I believe its a information to the user for cursor placement. Ideally no special integration of screens with scanner is required. but when the UIs are used in a handheld device which comes with a scanner, there is a possibility to auto place the cursor in the required text box to avoid manual intervention but for which a piece of code have to be written (incase of a custom UI). Otherwise a manual intervention is required to ensure scanned value is displayed.
Thanks

Hi Adnan,
Yes, it can be used in any handheld device with barcode scan functionality. To use camera in place of barcode scan, its technically possible. you may have to write a custom code to get the camera input and then place the barcode value. However for this you need to get into custom GR/GI page and may not be possible on standard launchpad.
Helplink for GI/GR Launchpad.
Thanks

Hi Mahalakshmi,
Thanks for your response.
Yes, I have followed the same and its working. I wanted to know one more thing regarding the above query was that, is there any functionality that is working behind the "Scanner is disabled; press here to enable" like if we enable the scanner , automatically GR posting will happen or like what is the significance behind the above message that is appearing on the screen.
Thanks and Regards,
Rudrakshma Bhowmick
