Hi experts,
some question/assumtions about Label printing CBGL_MP01:
It is it correct, that no print request is generated when I (only) use the prievew, although the print log tells, that print request 00000xxx created??? I cant find it in Labeling workbench
During the label generation I got a warning message for a label type:
What the reason for these message?
Hello Holger
Print request cannot generated during preview , it's just preview of the label to see everything ok or not then once after we select the printer and give print request ,
I'm not sure why you are getting print request may it's for only just only for preview , check your config .
Generic labeling scenario you can determine and print labels for a material.
If you enter a customer, the system also determines customer-specific labels.
The system uses the outermost packaging unit taken from the packaging hierarchy of the material that you specified in the material master (see Specifying Packaging Hierarchies for a Material). However, you can also choose a different packaging unit from the material’s packaging hierarchy.
The additional entries you must make in the labeling scenario depend on the settings you made for the labeling scenario in the IMG activity Specify Labeling Scenarios in Customizing for Global Label Management.
Generic scenario required only material and package only .

Hi Satya,
thanks a lot.
You mentionded: "I'm not sure why you are getting print request may it's for only just only for preview , check your config" -> where can I check config/customzing to control, that during "preview" print request will/will not generated?
