GLM Labels don't prints the content correctly sometimes

Dear Experts,

We have a case here that Labels sometimes prints the value of its symbols correctly and Sometimes it just prints the Symbol & not the values in the output report in CBGL_MP01.

For example,

• For Material X, label GLM1 prints the content with the values as expected. This is fine for all Users.

and

• For Material Y, label GLM1 prints the Symbol and not its values (it is printing the same as like when you do CTRL+F7 in CG42 document). This happens to only specific users. The same GLM1 label for the material Y works fine for other users.

Hi Prem,

Before i consider this as a query/problem, i want to add my comments here:

I think, more than issue? it is, something you are missing for those users or their systems?

Can you try to ask those user to login into your system with there user credential and try to execute for the Material Y?

Thanks for your response !

User tried to generate label from my computer using his user ID. But we still gets the same problem. The same is working in my user ID.

I compared

1. Word settings: File -> Options -> Display. It is same as like mine
2. User profile - Parameters are same as mine.

Any idea, what could be the problem.

Prem,

Please double check the authorization/roles of the user vs your authorization/roles. Better check with basis team, who provided these access to you and user. I am petty sure you are missing something, so check with basis, they can help you.

Dear Prem

please execute transaction "su53" for those user without the correct output. This will check the authorizations. It is most likely (as mentioned by Mr EHS) that this is an "access" topic.

PS: it seems to be that you use "report generation from fly" as the report symbols shown are "EHS core". (you do not generate docuemnt to be viewed in CG54; correct?)

You are correct and It is an authorization issue. The particular user is not authorized to specific validity area.
