getting assigned roles for a current user

i must get assigned roles for current user logged in MII.I use it for permission check in javascript.

is it possible to get assigned roles for current user?

the Link below will return the assigned Roles to the specified UserName:

/XMII/Illuminator?Service=SystemInfo&Mode=RoleList&Group=<UserName>
