Functional Location Edit Mask

Hello,

Our Functional Location edit mask is XX-XXXX-XXX. However, in some cases second hierarchy has only 3 characters (Ex: US-ABC-XYZ) and in most of the cases second level hierarchy has 4 characters inline with edit mast (Ex: US-ABCD-WVX). Is it possible to achieve both variations with same edit mask?

you could define a generic edit mask but with this you lose the SAP standard hierarchy distribution - you would need to manually define the hierarchy when you create a functional location.
