Hi,

I performed the MII Communication config as per https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_MANUFACTURING_INTEGRATION_AND_INTELLIGENCE/d70c3ac3566b41dd896cd7cecc9..., however IDOCS I send from SAP S/4HANA 2020 to the MII system fail with “Function IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHORNOUS” not found in SM58. The IDOC’s in WE02 show as successfully sent, but no IDOC received on the MII system.

I’ve created the IDOC config now another 2 times, as per https://docplayer.net/64304580-How-to-send-an-idoc-from-sap-ecc-to-the-sap-mii-idoc-listener-mii-12-..., but the same issue also on the other ports I created.

I’ve tried the resolution in SAP note 2399329, still same issue.

The resource adapter config is completed.

BD64, WE21 and WE20 config defined, SAP RFC connection test OK and the MII message listener have status “connected”.

On the message processing rule, I've tried Synchronous and Asynchronous, howerver now sure what config must be used for Asynchornous and if the config here can cause the issue.

Guidance will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hi,

Thank you, it is working now!! The issue was that past times I manually registered the RFC program after creating the RFC to fix the connection. This time I did not register the program, and the MII ALE steps auto-registered the program, and IDOC's are now received in MII.
