Fractional value of the shop order quantity.

Hello.

I moved the production order to ME, but in the shop order Ordered Qty is rounded to a whole number. Material has a unit of measure in Material Maintenance KG and in ERP, lot size 0.001. Can you tell me if ME supports fractional values in shop order Ordered Qty? And if so, what affects the setting of the fractional value.

Hello basik,

When using SAP ME via the GUI on Shop Order maintenance, it's possible for you to create a fractional QTY order. However, when ERP is sending the fractional QTY order to SAP ME, it gets rounded by the XSLT floor function because SAP ME is dedicated to discrete manufacturing--thus output is integers.

Should you interested in alternating the function of the XSLT, please involved the SAP ME Support Dev team to have a customization in place for your business case to handle the Non-Integer order.
