I am looking for drawings of a large assembly. I have one of the parts in the subassembly, but this part is used in many assemblies and most of those assemblies don't have drawings so they are not helpful. Is there a way I can only return the materials that have documents in my cs15 transaction instead of manually going through a hundred materials to find one with a document.

In ECTR, if you want to get all materials for an assembly you can do this:
Right click on assembly, Object List Operations => Add all referenced parts
Then give a name for the Object List, ok
Then Right Click on the created Object List and use "add associated materials"
(hier you could also use add Dependent Documents to get Drawings, but you wanted materials)
Now you have all materials in the Object List:

hi Georgije,
Do you use SAP gui or business client or do you also have the possibility to use the Engineering Control cenTeR (ECTR)
In ECTR you can find your part and then in the container of the DIR (Document Info Record) you can find the drawing attached to your part or assembly. If you use dependent documents the document number should be the same as your part/assembly
