Field Group from customer field: update properties in config mode

Hello,

In SAP PPM 4.5 (SP4) we created field groups from customer fields, which are displayed in the additional tab. We would like to update the tooltip for some fields. To do so, we went in cProjects application in config mode ('CONFIG-MODE=X' in the url) and update the tooltip property. However, when connected to cProjects in the normal way, nothing is updated.

Do you know how to do this, or what is wrong?

Hi,

The webdynpro component is: DPR_TABLE_EXT

And the view is: VI_MAIN

Unfortunately, when I checked the screen configuration in SE80, nothing is displayed. I have the feeling that it's like generated automatically, thanks to the field group customizing point.

Checked with a SAP technical expert: for this kind of generated screens, it's only possible to update field properties by overwriting the corresponding standard class.

Hi,

Can you give me the following information.

Right click on the field for which you wan to change the tooltip --> click on "More Field Help" and let me know the name of the Web Dynpro Component and View.
