Field Control in xRPM

Hi,

Can somebody please let me know as to how can I make an Item Type field in xRPM an optional field rather than it being a mandatory field while creating Items? Which element do I need to choose so that the Item Type field becomes optional.

Hi Gaurav,

Item type is vital field which controls some fields at Item level which include Default Template of cProjects, creation of cProjects project when item is created an so on.

Also Decision points (RPM version 4.5) and status network are dependent on the item type.

Hence its not advised to make it as optional and it should be mandatory.
