Exact Composition Based on Products - Composition tab (CAS Number & EINECS) Improperly filled.

Hello Experts,

As per the below attached image, in the "Exact Composition based on products" VAT under the Composition tab, Specification ID's followed by "DESCRIPTION" is being displayed with EINECS number in place of CAS number.

Due to this, my SDS output is filled with EINECS number in place of Chemical name and CAS No. is filled under Product name. Need your suggestions for sorting out this issue.

sorry to say: you can not combine your findings in most of the cases as you have done it. The "look and feel" of CG02 is not directly linked to the "look and feel" of SDS/MSDS (it is not "mandatory" to use the same logic).

in CG02 for "Composition" topics (and Spec Listing) a "Identification Listing" is used. This "identification listing" is used to determine: what identifer to be presented

In the "Safety Data Sheet" in most cases a different "Identification listing" is used if you try to print "names" / "numbers" for components as in your case. But you can use the same identification listing as in CG02.

E,g, Identification listing "D_HITLIST" is used for the "Hitlist" in CG02. A different identification listing is used to handle "compoistions/spec listing" data. Check customizing and the data of the objects.

For "Composition" and "Spec Listing": identification is used "D_VALPOS" is used
