Error while cretaing Multiple items in PPM

Hi All,

Am getting Error "Planning elements XXXXXX already exists" while creating multiple items in PPM.

but if i debugg items created successfully.

Please give me any suggestions.

Are you creating a cProject at the same time than the Item?

It seems a problem creating the cproject. I suppose you have configured a cproject template linked to your item and it is not being created properly.

Check how your cProject template is created and the name of the project/phases/tasks in the template and how the phase and task ID are created.

I had a similar problem because I named the task with these code X123  X124 and the value as so long then the system created task  X12 ( instead of  X123) and then had to create X124 but created again X12 and the system informs the same error message as yours.

I think your problem is beause you have configured to create another object at the same time than the item.

- Check if you are trying to create a cProject ( project, phase, tasks) and check if it is being created correctly

or

- Check if you are trying to creat a Project in PS ( project, WBS...) and check if it is being created correctly.
