Hello Ashwini
This almost looks like a DFM or object link related issue. Have you maintained all relevant object link types?

Hi Charl,
When I click on portfolio item, I get an error -- I get the login screen -- if I login to it, I am able to proceed ahead with Item screen.
Thereafter when I click on Financial Planning, I get the below screen - No errors shown here but no financial lines either. I am wondering whether the above error is causing this behaviour.

Hi
Looking at your object link configuration again...did you enter "NONE" as the destination or was it there by default? Whenever this is defaulted you should not change it. Mine however also has the Logical system values in here - i.e. PDMCLNT300 in your case. Perhaps try changing this value and see what happens.

C
I have entered NONE as per config guide page 68. Earlier the destination was blank.
For the Logical System -- I get 2 options -- PDMCLNT300 and PDMCLNT000 -- I selected PDMCLNT300
For Web Server, I get single option -- PDMCLNT300 -- and I selected that.
Following are my questions
1. What I can do is change the webserver to the FQDN of the URL. But which object link can I check this? Do I have to change all the object links to test for the error I am getting?
2. I found from other SCN non-PPM threads for the "No Switch to HTTPS..." that we need to provide FQDN to the URL. When I click on the Item, the new browser window does not have the FQDN in URL. Will the change to all object links likely to resolve this errror?
Surprisingly not getting any error now. All I changed was the 0RPMCPPROJECT - Project Definition (Proj. Mgmt) Object Link types. I made the Web Server as FQDN. Now I am not getting the "Switch to https..." error.
How can I troubleshoot the Financial Planning issue? No error however no planning lines either.
Hi Charl,
I am now getting the lines for entry. This is absolutely silly of me.
I had not enabled the item for the financial views. Now I am able to proceed with the Financial Planning at item level.
Thanks for your help, it did seem to resolve one issue of "no switch to https..."
Regards,
Ashwini
