Hi,

you don't geht this error? Why do you want to get this error?

Hi,

I created a new report template and also released that.

Then i have created the generation variant. When I tried to generate a report body by choosing Specification-->report-->create report.

I had given the generation variant that i have created, there I am getting this error.

Hello

you need to understand the different "report symbol types" (check blog WWI for experts and SAP Online help, etc.)

Step one. Check your "generation variant" to which your "WWI template is related"

Check if on level of gen var some "application object" is assigned (should be "SUBMASTER); assumption: you will not find this

Step three

Check your WWI template; Assumption: you have e.g added a "phrase" and nothing else: You have not tried to get "identifier" in WWI report

In a nutshell: Please check the WWI Blog: "WWI for Beginners": Refer to example of print "Hello World" using WWI as i have tried to explain there

Check SAP Online help; check your parallel Threads: You should find lot of links to so many helpful informations that you should be able to get rid of this message very easily
