Error in CG42

Dear Experts,

I wanted to use my system for creating / editing the report templates and Lables.

Following setting I have done in MS Word. Please Note that I have MS Word 2007

1) for WORD, file locaiton to given to folddr where WWI.DOT, wwiDispl.dot & wwilayt.dot is Saved.

2) Macro Security set to low. i.e. Enable All Macros

I am able to CG42 Screen. but when i click on Check Template, following error is coming

Internal macro error: Error occurred while checking the layout

Message no. CM_REPORT_TEMPLATE603

Procedure

Notify your system administrator.

Check whether you are using the current WWI version. For more information, see SAP Note 568302. Update your WWI version if necessary.

The error was caused in the macro WwiScanLayout.main when calling the DLL file WwiRes32.DLL.

can you please guide me how to resolve the same?

is MS Word 2007 is NOT compatible with WWI

Hi Amol,

Word 2007 is supported, with WWI SP14 and SAP GUI 7.10 or SAP GUI 6.40 PL22. I think in Word 2007, you have to add the WWI root directory to the list of trusted user locations in Word's Trust Center.
