Hi Everyone,
After completing configuration setting require to add new Item type in portfolio, following message is coming when i am opening project in project management.. "Setting for Accounting Integration contain errors", I have done necessary configurations in activation of accounting integration, Still i am facing this issue, I would request experts to provide there inputs so that i can rectify this priority issue.

Need your more help pls..Now one issue coming while transfer of project to PS.
Error messge - error occurred when transferring in accounting ( dpr_fin_gecco024 ).
I created project profile by coping another. Is that something i am missing here. I would surely appreciate if you can help me in this priority issue.

Anything which goes wrong on the ERP side (related to some missing/wrong customizing) could lead to this error message, so unfortunately there is no way to say what is wrong based just on the message itself.
Please proceed as suggested in the long text of error message DPR_FIN_GECCO024: access the Controlling Cockpit on the ERP system (transaction COCPCPR). Enter the relevant controlling area when prompted. Then find the error message(s) related to the object(s) for which creation via accounting integration has failed.
You should be able to post-process these error messages, this way you will hopefully get additional information concerning what exactly is causing the creation of these objects to fail (if not, then you may have to debug the post-processing and see where any why it is failing).

I can not see my project type in Controlling scenario..What could be the reason..waiting for expert replies.

If you do not see the PPM project type in the controlling scenario customizing on your ERP system, this suggests that the replication of customizing from PPM to ERP was not carried out, or failed for some reason.
On the PPM system you should try running customizing activity "Replicate Accounting-Relevant Characteristics" again, ensuring to choose the correct RFC destination. You can then check the customizing on your ERP system under "Integration with Other mySAP.com Components" > "SAP Portfolio and Project Management" > "Collaboration Projects" > "Controlling" to ensure that the project types have now been replicated.
If the replication of the customizing is still failing, see if any error message are returned (these may help identify the reason).
Please also refer to the Configuration Guidelines (attachment of SAP Note 1411953) under Section
"Defining Settings for Accounting Integration".

Hello Gaurav,
The IMG documentation for this customizing activity explains the function of the various flags.
If the project type has not yet been replicated, you would normally run this program with both flags "Project Type" and "Reason for Projet". You should NOT run the report with flag "delete legacy data" if it is not necessary.
