Dear experts,
After following and implementing the SAP DM Integration Guide-Steps (scenario: Integration with SAP ERP), I have encountered some problems:
1. SSL-Certificate issue - SSSLERR_PEER_CERT_UNTRUSTED
Solution was provided in many other topics and the issue was solved:
https://me.sap.com/notes/0002461900
https://me.sap.com/notes/0002333326 (Solution)
https://answers.sap.com/questions/13020758/backend-ecc-connection-to-cpi.html
2. Transaction SM59 - HTTP-Response Status=403 for the HTTP Connection to External Server (Type=G)
Solution was also provided in many other topics, but the issue still remained:
https://me.sap.com/notes/0002613693
https://me.sap.com/notes/0002354728
https://blogs.sap.com/2020/07/15/sap-s4h-idoc-to-sap-cpi-inbound-idoc-interface/
The SSL-Certificates were uploaded in SAP ERP in STRUST and SAP CPI in Keystore (Manage Security)
The formats of the SSL-Certificates was base-64 encoded X.509 (.cer).
The logon&security and technical security were also checked and they are alright. Also in SAP BTP/SAP CPI I have re-checked every step, without finding any issue.
Any hints / solutions where I can re-check?
PS: Could it be that the problem is actually in the uploaded SSL-Certificates, since I had this problem from the beginning? Should the SSL certificates from SAP CPI also be uploaded in SAP ERP? (as per post: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/07/15/sap-s4h-idoc-to-sap-cpi-inbound-idoc-interface/)?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Bogdan

Hi Bogdan,
In which folder in transaction STRUST did you upload the certificate?
After you uploaded the certificates in SAP ERP, did you invalidate the server cache (TA: SMICM -> HTTP Plug-In -> Server-Cache -> Invalidate Locally or Globally)
Did you also check if you get more information about your error message in TA: SMICM -> Trace File -> Display All
You can still check this to rule out errors in the ERP system.
What is your exact error message? Do you have any more information here?
Regards
Jim
