Error 401: unauthorized in DMC services in design Production POD in SAP DMC

Hi,

I have designed a production process which consumes the SAP DMC standard service "Create Material".

While trying to run the service , i am getting error 401: Unuthorized.

Inputs are being accepted clearly.

Please help me understand if i am missing something here.

Also, How can we set session variables in case of Standard SAP Dm services for authorizations.

Hi,

Destination changes in BTP might take a while to propagate and take effect in DM. Have you tried again since the test above? If it still fails, I suggest you review your setup, see: https://help.sap.com/docs/sap-digital-manufacturing/production-process-designer/prerequisites

Otherwise, you can raise a ticket and support colleagues should be able to help.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your support Manoel. It worked now. It took some time for destination service to reflect the changes in DM but it finally worked.

I have checked my BTP destination. It is giving 302 in response.

Could you please help me with anything else i should check?

It should return 200: OK.

The 302 status code is a redirection message that occurs when a resource or page you're attempting to load has been temporarily moved to a different location. It's usually caused by the web server and doesn't impact the user experience, as the redirect happens automatically.

So most probably your Destination details are wrong and you must review it.
