Error 1057 when setting up new Generation Servers

I'm currently installing a new WWI Generation Server.

I was able to install the adminstrative Connection between SAP and WWI thus the Server appears in CGSADM. This EH&S management Service is running under an servcie account Sika\chsrvehs.

Now I want to create the Services in CGSADM by using button 'Install WWI Generation Server'.

The installation fails with error Code 1057:

Error: Creation of service YEHS_WWI_GEN_1_1_AEQ_01 failed. Error 1057: The account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified.##

And

Info: Parameters: User:'SIKA\SRVEHS'#Display:'WWI Server (YEHS_WWI_GEN_1_1/AEQ/100/01)'#Desc:'WWI Server (YEHS_WWI_GEN_1_1/AEQ/100/01)'#

This user Sika\srvehs does not exist (but I used this user in the beginning when I started the WWI Installation because I got a wrong user name from the colleagues. Later I changed it manually to the correct one in svcadmin.exe.). I suppose this is the reason why it doesn't work. I had expected the credentials of the account would have been taken from the Management Service. Unfortunately the Service is not created on the Server otherwise I could have changed the settings in svcadmin.exe.

How can I solve this issue? Any idea?

thank you. I could change the settings now according to note 839750. I face some further issues but I can't continue due to an update of the SAP System I wanted to connect the WWI server.

Hi

To add if you want to change the user whose password you have given wrong, you may navigate Services and click on Service - properties and change the user name / password combination in security tab.

To change the WWI User account and password, used by CGSADM for new WWI serves, run following command in a Windows Command Prompt:

Ehsmansrv.exe /W

You can find further Tips and Tricks (FAQ) for CGSADM /EhsManSrv in Note 839750

Remark:

Existing WWI services are not changed with this command. There you need to change the account using SvcAdmin.exe or the Windows Services Control Panel App.
