EPM transports

Hi,

We have a portal 6.40 in which we have deployed the Technidata EPM (Environmental Performance Management) components, and I would like to know how we can transport from DEV to QAS, because I think that is not in a portal java way (import/export), could someone help us?

Hi there,

You may need to see if there is any documentation regarding this on the help.sap.com website or you may have to open a message with SAP support. Usually non-ABAP systems use the CTS+ enhanced change and transport system to promote items from different environments. However this feature may not be available in your version and product yet. What is the exact version and new SAP name you are using?

Hi,

EPM it´s a special system, which doesn´t use CTS+ or if CTS+ is not available, transports can be performed doing export/import for i.e .epa files.

I´ve read something about do that using file deconfig.bat and the .dat-file, but I´m not sure if when you have to transport for i.e one role from DEV to PRD you have to import the whole DEV EPM system .
