We have situation where we will use Kanban replenishment through EWM. So, for this to work, EWM will need to know current qty on material within a PSA and bin (inside storage location). I do see that all 3 fields are available under the Inventory ID - SLOC, PSA, and bin. Our underlying assumption is that if we have inventory ID, then this should provide the goods issue back to EWM for that material down to the bin level. The other assumption is that a Kanban move in EWM to SLOC, PSA and Bin would also create the inventory ID with this attached data.
However, all documentation in help, etc that I have seen is based on order based staging - not Kanban. So, question is if there is any logical dependency on the order picking/reservation to 1) create the inventory id in DMC with PSA and bin data, and 2) perform goods issue when inventory ID is consumed. It seems that it should work similar to IM at this point, but just not sure.
