ELOG red ball

I have a Qnote that is closed with the incorrect final disposition code selected "L" for limited use. The correct code should be A for accept as is. The "L" code is throwing a red ball in the ELOG at the next high assembly. How can this be corrected to remove the red ball from the ELOG?
