EHSM Incident Management Investigation

Dear All,

We have a problem in SAP EHSM Incident Management.

For any Incident category (Eg., Incident, NearMiss), under the ‘Investigation’ tab after setting Investigation status as ‘In Process’, we need to add step ‘Carryout Incident Investigation Analysis’ and ‘Lesson learnt’ for ‘Near Miss’ and ‘Safety Observation’. After including both step in the respective Incident Categories and filling the ‘analysis’ column in both steps, we were not able to view the entered text  in the generated summary report. This work perfectly with Incident. We checked at the configuration level at SPRO->SAP EHS Management->Incident Management->Investigation->Specify Steps, where we found it is configured for Incident alone. Can you suggest any method so that we apply the same for ‘Near Miss’ and ‘Safety Observation’.

Make a "Copy as"  for existing config for incident and make New entry and select "near miss" for both steps and check report output .

Dear Balajee,

Thanks. But we tried 'copy as' and configured for 'Near Miss' but it throws the following error 'Target Key must be different from Source Key'. If suppose I try to rename the 'Investigation Step', it get saved successfully but the problem didn't get solved. I am not able to view the entered text in 'Analysis' in the generated summary report by doing as I said.
