Hello,
I am trying to get familiar with the EHS management with help of the EHS100 Exercise book.
I am stuck at the first exercise. According to the 6th step, in order to assign a new location classifier, I should firstly navigate to the Environmental Details tab(see below).
However, I didn´t see any''einvironmental details'' tab in EHS Management(see below).
My question is:
Does anyone know , where is this Environmental Details tab?
I have also thought of the possibility, that this excercise book is of a old version, so that it doesn´t match the latest ESH version anymore.
Anyway , could anybody tell me how to assign a classifier to an existing location?
Best Regards
Kaixian

Hi Kaixian,
To view or enable the Environmental tab in Location, Your User has to be assigned with Environmental Manager role SAP_EHSM_HSS_ENVMGR or the equivalent custom role. Also, the below settings need to be done in spro.
To enable the Environmental Details tab on the Edit Location application for a specific user role, perform the following steps:
1. Open the Customizing activity Specify Roles for Environment Management for editing.
2. Optionally, add new user roles.
3. Select the Manage checkbox of the role, for which you want to enable the Environmental Details tab.
4. Save your entries.
5. Make sure that the role configured in the activity is also assigned to the corresponding user in transaction SU01

Mohan

Hello Kaixian,
I think you require the Manage Location App from the Environmental Manager group. There are different ways to open the location and the safest way to access the Environmental Manager view is through the Manage Location app in the corresponding Fiori Launchpad group. There the Environmental Details tab are available for sure.
I hope this gets you unstuck, otherwise I would have to look into the Exercise Book for more details on the procedure.
Best regards,
Tobias
