Can anybody confirm that the Accidents Management needs person's data managed in HR module?

Yes. All the company persons data is managed from HR component. External persons data is managed through business partners.

so in other words, can I manage Accidents without HR module? Is there a procedure?

Hello Marco,

Yes, you can manage the Accidents without HR module for the pesons with category as external persons.

The basic idea for using external person is that there may be few people working as a contractor on your site, and normally their details are not maintained in HR. And incase if anyone of them gets injured and you need to report that Accident, in that case a expernal person as a Business partner can be created and can be reported in Accident management, as you must be aware that Accident reports are generated for Person role as INJ : Person affected.

Hi,

Yes, you can create External person by using the T-code CBIH10 and you can assign this external person by selecting ' C' in person group and enter the business partner number.
