Dear ,
Customer has two SAP ERP system , one for EHS and one for other(SD ,MM) modules.
Curentlly they want to move to S/4 HANA , and consolidate two instances into one before move to S/4
Can we use remote client copy method, copy EHS sytem client to other SAP ERP system?

Hello
we have two options as the starting option.
Option 1: The data from SAP SD / MM system is "shared" to EHS system and then the EHS process runs there
Option 2: the other way around. EHS data is shared using ALE to SAP SD / MM process
Depending on Option 1 or 2: the process to consolidate the system is different
On top: risks can come up if System 1 does have different release / supportpackage than System 2.
Anyhow: your scenario is one of the common ones because of which many SAP customers are starting IT projects; therefore: many IT provider provides services to support exactly your scenario
So one of the most selected options is to select an IT provider which helps you to consolidate the IT Systems.
The move to "S/4 HANA" is then a different story.... (here as well many IT providers are as well supporting services to support this "move". But you should check the benefits and risks regarding the move to S/4 HANA and you should have a good "blue print"; many companies out there use the chance of this migration story to "check any business process" and look for "optimisation"; but it is on your side to select the best option to go on

Hello charles.han,
This depends on what EHS process are set-up.
For exampel, if your customer runs EHS for SDS authoring a client copy wouldn't be enough.
You would need to make sure to copy the generated WWI documents (templates and generated documents) and inbound documents as well - if they are stored in a DMS.
WWI and Expert Servers would need to be migrated as well.
Links to material and vendor master are important - so these keys would need to be 1:1 indentical as well. Some of these objects might have been created on the EHS side - you need to "copy" them as well....
Hope this helps
Mark

And to add to that: The shipping history has to be migrated as well.
