Dear Expert,
Totally new bie in EHS, hence need your help, one of my client has decided to implement "Illness / Injury Log" & "Incident Management"
and they have asked me to guide them regarding which module or sub module of EHS should be activated.
I googled alot and got an idea that to use EHS we need to have EA-PLM business functions activated.
Please guide if any specific / additional business function / enterprise extension is required to use "Illness / Injury Log" & "Incident Management" Functionality.
Regards.
Request clarification before answering.
The newest solution is found in the component extension for EHSM. http://help.sap.com/ehs-comp

Dear Mohammed
If your client having license of SAP EHSM CE 3.0 or 4.0 .. go with the implementation of Incident Management solution in which there are lot more features which will sink to day to day EHS incident Handling Activities...
Coming to configuration take the Basis help for deploying the component.

Dear Mohammad
Illness / Injury Log is related to: Injury/Illness Log (EHS-HEA-IIL) - Occupational Health (EHS-HEA) - SAP Library
"Incident Management: here we have now two solutions so you need to be more specific:
One here: Incident/Accident Management (EHS-IHS-IA) - Industrial Hygiene and Safety (EHS-IHS) - SAP Library
and the other here:
Component Extension 5.0 for SAP EHS Management – SAP Help Portal Page

For EHS classic: yes you have to do it; for EHSM solution I am not "100%" sure but I believe it is the same. EHSM is currently an "add on" to EA-PLM; This solution does have a lot of references in this FORUM
EHS-HEA is nearly on level "zero" in the number of threads in this FORUM
I found as reference:
