Hi,

We are in process migrating our ECC EH&S Web interface 2.6 from on premise server to Azure cloud.

we performed all the related activities to this Web interface setup & successfully connected to Backend server. we also able to search the documents without any issues. Now the issue is with opening/view any of these documents. when we try to click on the document a new window is opening and a file with .jsp extension but not the actual pdf.

Below entry is already maintained in the filter.ini

#RTF2PDF 25.09.2019
EHSReport=application/pdf|cmd /E "E:\\WebInterface\\apache-tomcat-8.0.48-windows-x64\\apache-tomcat-8.0.48\\webapps\\ehswww\\WEB-INF\\bin\\Rtf2Pdf2007.exe" <INFILE>;<OUTFILE>|pdf|

Attaching the error screenshot.

As you know this product is already out of support from SAP, we request you to provide any help/pointer on this to proceed further.

Regards,
Narasimharao G

Hello

1.) we are not using this solution

2.) based on screen shot: we can exclude problems with "access rights"

3.) we can be pretty sure that e.g. a SDS document is a "rtf" or "pdf" based document; assuming that the set up is correct

=> I would assumed you have a "prod" "Qual" etc, environment

So some "debugging" might help (preparea breakpoint in ABAP backend)

I do not know which "ABAP" code is used in the background. Assumunig you have an "RTF" based SDS: to generate the document at least we need

1.) a material number

2.) some idea regarding "language"

3.) and "Country"

In SAP EHS Servwer we have some APIs for "display" of WWI like document (e.g. like C12J_WWI_ADHOC_REPORT_SHOW)

I would assume thae one of these function modules are "in the game"

C.B.

PS: we have not many threads discussing the Web INterface; and as pointed out by you: it is not supported any more by SAP
