Hi Experts,

Please provide me the links/documents and what are all the pre-requisites for Installation of EH&S Expert/WWI/Management Service.

a. Provide me the steps to do the administration using EH&S Management Service

b. Provide me the steps about the installation procedure/Post Installation steps/management activities/Administration activities etc.

Please refer to Building Block Configuration Guide, EH&S Basics (850) in service market place for Setting up an EH&S Management Service and other basic services for SAP-EH&S.

Thank you for the information.Can you please let me know what are all the add-ons that we need to keep in ECC 6.0 server for enabling EH&S ?

Do we need to activate EH&S after the add -on installation?

Hi Karthick,

For EH&S to be up and running with standard data, following steps required for configuration of initial actions:

1) Activating SAP ECC Extension EA-PLM (Manual Step)

The purpose of this activity is to activate the required SAP ECC extensions

Note: This is cross-client configuration. Make sure that your client has appropriate settings (transaction scc4).

The required SAP ECC Extension will be activated

2) Adopting Standard Specification Database Structure

The purpose of this activity is to adopt standard specification database structure.

Standard specification database structure will be adopted.

3) Creating Entries for table based Value Assignments

The purpose of this activity is to set up a default setting for the display of such tables.

The latest versions of EH&S use a new way of displaying properties. They use adjustable tables instead of the earlier fixed fields. The control information for this table display has to be set up, too.

EH&S properties can be displayed as tables in the EH&S specification workbench.

4) Generating Standard Phrase Sets(Manual Step)

The purpose of this activity is to generate the phrase sets for the standard value assignment types. Phrase sets control which phrase values can be used in certain EH&S properties.

Note: Execute this step only once, otherwise data will be inconsistant.

Standard phrase sets will be generated

I am not able to find the document : Building Block Configuration Guide, EH&S Basics (850) in service market plce.

Please provide me the location of the same.

And can you please tell me whether the steps mentioned above has been documented by SAP?If yes please let me know where can I find the document?

The building blocks are available at:

On this page with different combination of Type industry and contry you will get Building blocks and from ther you get the config doc.

The steps which I mentioned in my previous thread are available in Bilding block X18, which you can access by going to the URL mentioned above and then selecting Type as Industry, Industry as Mining and Country as ALL, here you will find X18:EH&S.

Check this SAP Note 568302 - Current version of EH&S WWI and EH&S Expert, for pre-requisite informaton for EH&S Expert / WWI installation.

a. Provide me the steps to do the administration using EH&S Management Service

b. Provide me the steps about the installation procedure/Post Installation steps/management activities/Administration activities etc

Thank you for your reply.

In most of the SAP Notes, I could see that :

Implement the EH&S Expert server in accordance with the IMG documentation "Set up EH&S Expert Server As a Windows Service".

Where can I find IMG Documentation.? Please provide this information.
