Hi all
We are looking to activate PLM to have EH&S module in our system. Will there be any other impacts like additional view in Material master, additional fields in existing views etc? Where can I get the details related to the impacts/changes that will happen after EH&S installation?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mui Kanva,
You can go through the best practices documents which is available in help.sap. there you will find the industry wise scenarios and impacts on integration with other modules after EH&S implementation.
For WWI Installation you can get licence free of cost, by applying through OSS note. No need of any fee. Other Prerequisites you should have installed MS office and all other related impacts based on configurations only.
And most important is installation of service packs and patches to latest levels(Basis work).
Integration with other modules depends on configurations.

Guna

Hi Karin,
Recently i have implemented Best Practice for Chemicals, here we have the requirement to configure the EH&s WWI.
It is require a license key, without a license key the server can be installed in an evaluation mode that is restricted to run for 10 days only. For more information refer to Note 513330.

Hi,
SAP EHS comes with standard package of ECC 6.0, where in you have to look for EHS data view in material master. In addition to this there will be a seperate view for Label data. There two are the preliminary master data for most of the EHS transactions. There is a need of WWI installation which is a unique server for EHS, required for all Report generations
Please reply back if you have some more doubts on this
Best regards
Srinivas
