ECTR : How to use the SAP Business Client instead of SAP GUI

Nowadays it's only possible to "jump" either to an transaction - then good old SAP GUI will open, or to the UI5 "Fiori-App" manage product master, for instance, then just the browser will open.
Are there any plans to enable the use of the SAP business client instead of the GUI?
The use of the "good old" SAP GUI will be restricted for "normal" users in our company, at least it is planned to do so. Users should use and get used to use the BC, that's why I'm asking.

I know all of that.

My question goes more to the ECTR-group. From ECTR there is no possibility to use, to "jump" to the Business client. Every time you need to call Functons like "change material", diplay BOM, the SAP GUI ist opened.

Hello Martin,

very quick and short answer: you have to call NWBC via the following syntax: sap-nwbc://<whatever URL you like to render>.
