ECTR 5.2 and xlsx files

In ECTR 5.2, when I export a list to Excel, the file is always a .xls file. How do I change the default to .xlsx?

So are you saying there is no way to change ECTR so the exported file is a .xlsx instead of a .xls?

In most cases, this is not a problem, but I have had very long listings that exceed the 65536 line limit of xls files (mostly when I am doing some data analysis). ECTR gives me some fields for documents, like DType, that aren't available from SE16N Draw table.

Hello Allen,

ECTR is using an open source library which only saves XLS. However, applications (most likely MS Excel) can read also XLS files without any issues.
