EA PLM Activation for Quality Notification change option

Greetings

While trying to activating OPS_QM_EXTENSIONS / OPS_QM_EXTENSION_2 / OPS_QM_EXTENSION_3 by basis team getting message that EA PLM need to be activated.Need to know the implications for activating for this.

Need for activation is to change the notification type from one to another.
